SCRIPTURE: And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and those who were ready went in… and the door was shut. (Matthew 25:10)
THE ENTREPRENEUR’S REFLECTION
The virgins who missed the wedding did so because they lacked urgency. Humans are procrastinators. If we think we can buy it tomorrow, we will wait until tomorrow. And tomorrow never comes.
You must engineer Scarcity (limited quantity) and Urgency (limited time).
“Only 5 items left.” (Scarcity) “Sale ends on Friday.” (Urgency)
This isn’t manipulation; it is leadership. You are motivating the customer to take the action that will solve their problem. Without a deadline, there is no deal.
THE EXECUTION PROTOCOL
The Deadline: Add a deadline to your current offer. “This price is valid until [Date].”
Limit the Supply: “I can only take on 2 new clients this month.”
The Reminder: Send a message to prospects: “Just a heads up, the door is closing soon.”
