SCRIPTURE: Thus the heavens and the earth, and all the host of them, were finished. (Genesis 2:1)
THE ENTREPRENEUR’S REFLECTION
Whether you plan to sell tomorrow or in twenty years, you must build your enterprise as if you are selling it. This forces you to eliminate dependencies (Mar 13), codify systems (Feb 7), and clean up financials (Mar 2). An acquisition-ready business is one where the revenue is tied to the system, not the founder. It is finished—a complete, functional entity. This is the ultimate test of leverage. If your business relies on you for daily functions, its value is low. If it generates profit independently, its value is high. Building for sale is simply the most disciplined way to build for long-term health and wealth creation.
PRAYER / CONFESSION
Father, grant me the foresight to build a complete, finished, and valuable enterprise. I pray for the discipline to organize my systems and finances so that the value is independent of my daily labor. Help me to build an asset that is scalable, defensible, and ready to be an enduring host of prosperity, whether I am present or not. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
THE EXECUTION PROTOCOL
Identify the Dependency: What is the single biggest operational function that you alone control (e.g., Customer Service, Sales Closing)?
Start the Handoff: Create a 90-day plan to move that function entirely into a documented system and assign it to a team member.
The Buyer’s View: Imagine a buyer is looking at your accounts. What is the one financial item that would look messy or complicated? Fix it today.
