SCRIPTURE: Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin. (Zechariah 4:10)
THE ENTREPRENEUR’S REFLECTION
Since you have no experience, you must gain it through real work. The Minimum Viable Service (MVS) is the smallest, highest-impact service you can offer today to one specific person to solve their most urgent pain point. It is not a fully formed product suite; it is a single, profitable transaction. For example, instead of “web design agency,” your MVS is “designing a high-converting landing page headline.” Focus on the highest-value wedge to get your foot in the door. Small beginnings are powerful when they are hyper-focused on solving a painful, specific problem. The MVS generates immediate cash flow, experience, and crucial social proof.
PRAYER / CONFESSION
Lord, help me to identify the smallest, most valuable service I can provide today. I pray for the discipline to narrow my focus to the single point of pain that a client is ready to pay to solve. I commit to honoring these small beginnings, knowing they are the foundation of my future enterprise. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
THE EXECUTION PROTOCOL
Define Your Wedge: If you could only spend 4 hours on a client for $200, what is the most valuable thing you could deliver?
Target the MVS: Name three people or companies that currently need exactly that MVS.
The MVS Pitch: Write a 2-sentence pitch for this MVS that focuses entirely on the client’s urgent outcome (e.g., “I will fix the 3 biggest conversion leaks on your homepage today”).
