SCRIPTURE: The thing that you are doing is not good… you will wear out. (Exodus 18:17-18)
THE ENTREPRENEUR’S REFLECTION
You are doing the sales, the delivery, and the accounts. This is the “Superman Syndrome.” It feeds your ego but starves your bank account. When everything revolves around you it ceases to be a business , you become a self employed individual.
To scale, you must buy back your time. The first hire doesn’t need to be a Harvard grad. It just needs to be someone who can do the
$5/hour tasks so you can focus on the $500/hour tasks. If you don’t have an assistant, you are the assistant.
THE EXECUTION PROTOCOL
The Task Audit: List everything you did yesterday. Mark them as “$”, “$$”, or “$$$”.
The First Delegate: Find a sibling, a student, or a freelancer to take the lowest value task (e.g., cleaning, data entry) off your plate.
SOP Creation: Record a voice note explaining how to do that task so you never have to explain it again.
