SCRIPTURE: Isaac dug their wells… they strove for that also… So he moved from there and dug another well. (Genesis 26:22)
THE ENTREPRENEUR’S REFLECTION
Don’t worry about what the guy across the street is doing. If you copy him, you become a commodity. If you become a commodity, you compete on price. If you compete on price, you race to the bottom.
Be like Isaac. If the competition is fierce here, move to a new “well.” Create a unique angle. If everyone sells standard bread, sell “Health Bread for Diabetics.” Differentiate or die.
THE EXECUTION PROTOCOL
The “Only” Statement: Fill in the blank: “We are the only business in [City] that helps [Who] to [Result] by [Unique Method].”
Spy vs. Spy: Look at your competitor’s weakness. Is their service slow? Make yours fast. That is your differentiator.
Ignore the Noise: Unfollow 3 competitors on social media. Focus on your lane.
