SCRIPTURE: Prepare the way of the Lord; make straight in the desert a highway for our God. (Isaiah 40:3)
THE ENTREPRENEUR’S REFLECTION
Amazon is a trillion-dollar company because of one button: “Buy Now with 1-Click.” They removed the friction of entering your address and credit card every time.
Every extra click, every extra form field, every time a customer has to “call for a quote” is a wall you are building between you and the money. Your job is to make the highway straight. If it is hard to pay you, people won’t pay you. In Zimbabwe, if you only accept USD cash but no EcoCash or ZiG, you are adding friction. You are prioritizing your convenience over the customer’s ease. That is a tax on your growth.
THE EXECUTION PROTOCOL
The Payment Audit: Count how many steps it takes for a customer to pay you. Remove one step today.
The Form Killer: If you have a sign-up form, remove any field that isn’t absolutely necessary.
The “Yes” Test: Call your own business number. Does a human answer? If not, fix it.
