SCRIPTURE: David encouraged himself in the Lord his God. (1 Samuel 30:6)
THE ENTREPRENEUR’S REFLECTION
“High Agency” is the ability to force reality to bend to your will without waiting for permission or perfect conditions. Low agency people say, “I can’t do this because the economy is bad.” High agency people say, “The economy is bad, so I will build a product that saves people money.”
When Ziklag was burned and his wives stolen, David didn’t wait for a government bailout. He encouraged himself and pursued. You are the protagonist of this movie. Stop acting like an extra. If there is a wall, you don’t turn back; you build a door.
THE EXECUTION PROTOCOL
The No-Complaining Rule: For 24 hours, you are not allowed to blame external factors (government, weather, customers).
The “How” Shift: Instead of saying “I can’t afford it,” ask “How can I afford it?”
Take Responsibility: Identify one area where you are failing and admit, “This is my fault,” then fix it.
