SCRIPTURE: He built towers in the desert and dug many wells. (2 Chronicles 26:10)
THE ENTREPRENEUR’S REFLECTION
In medieval times, a castle had a moat (water ditch) to stop enemies. In business, a “Moat” is what protects you from competition. If your business is just “buying cheap and selling dear,” anyone can copy you. You have no moat.
You need a competitive advantage that is hard to copy. Brand Moat: (Nike – people pay for the name).
Switching Cost Moat: (WhatsApp – everyone you know is on it, so you can’t leave).
Cost Moat: (You own the factory, so you are cheaper).
Build your tower. Dig your well. Make it hard to be replaced.
THE EXECUTION PROTOCOL
Own the Relationship: Ensure the customer knows you, not just your product.
Proprietary Process: Name your unique method (e.g., “The EDD Blueprint”).
