SCRIPTURE: Commit your works to the Lord, and your thoughts will be established. (Proverbs 16:3)
THE ENTREPRENEUR’S REFLECTION
When you leave for a week, does your business stop? If yes, your wealth is contained in your head, not in your business. Tacit knowledge (what you know) cannot be sold; codified knowledge (what is written down) can be scaled, delegated, and valued by investors. The moment you write down how you answer the phone, how you package an order, or how you run an ad, you have created a valuable intellectual asset. Your Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are not boring administrative tasks; they are the oil that lubricates the machine and the established thought that allows others to reproduce your success.
PRAYER / CONFESSION
Father, help me to be diligent in documentation. I commit my methods and processes to You, seeking order and clarity. Establish my thoughts in concrete procedures so that my success is not dependent on my presence. I pray that my systems will be so clear that they replicate my quality without my effort. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
THE EXECUTION PROTOCOL
Document the Core: Pick your single most profitable activity (e.g., “The Sales Call”). Record a 10-minute video or write a step-by-step guide explaining exactly how you do it.
The Knowledge Vault: Start a simple Google Drive folder or notebook labeled “The System.” This is where all documentation goes.
Test the SOP: Have an assistant or a family member try to perform that documented task using only your instructions. Note where the instructions fail.
