SCRIPTURE: Then he provided them with a dwelling place and pastures for their livestock. (Genesis 47:6)
THE ENTREPRENEUR’S REFLECTION
The hustler buys things that depreciate (cars, gadgets). The enterprise owner invests in things that appreciate—assets. In the modern economy, your most valuable assets are Intellectual Property (IP): trademarks, patents, unique methodologies, and copyrighted content. When you build a proprietary process (a system only you use) or trademark your brand name, you are creating a dwelling place and pastures that only you own. This defensibility is the root of long-term wealth. Stop renting your value; start owning the framework within which you operate.
PRAYER / CONFESSION
Lord, I ask for the foresight to invest in assets, not liabilities. Help me to secure the ground I have conquered by building fences of ownership around my ideas and methods. I pray for protection over my intellectual property and the wisdom to know what to trademark, what to patent, and what to keep as proprietary process. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
THE EXECUTION PROTOCOL
Name Your Method: Give your unique sales process, delivery system, or client methodology a unique, trademarkable name (e.g., The “Velocity” System).
Copyright Check: Ensure all your critical content (website copy, main graphics) has a visible copyright statement.
Digital Ownership: Buy the domain name, social media handle, and local business registration for any new major product or sub- brand idea.
