SCRIPTURE: Prove all things; hold fast to that which is good. (1 Thessalonians 5:21)
THE ENTREPRENEUR’S REFLECTION
Entrepreneurship is not guesswork; it is a series of controlled experiments. If you are not A/B testing your headlines, your pricing, and your delivery methods, you are leaving profit on the table. Never fall in love with your own ideas. The market is the ultimate truth-teller. The scientific method of business is: Hypothesis (I think this will work) -> Test (I will run this small experiment) -> Data (This is what actually happened) -> Iterate (I will fix it). You must prove all things. If a headline works 2% better, that is a wealth-building discovery. If an idea fails, it is not a defeat; it is a data point.
PRAYER / CONFESSION
Lord, give me the discipline of a scientist. I pray for the objectivity to prove all things and the humility to hold fast only to that which the market confirms is good. Help me to love data more than my own vanity. I commit to running small, measurable experiments this week to find the profitable truth. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
THE EXECUTION PROTOCOL
The A/B Test: Create two versions of your most important sales tool (e.g., two different WhatsApp status messages, two email subject lines).
Run the Experiment: Send Version A to 50% of your list and Version B to the other 50%.
Measure the Winner: Track which version got the most clicks or replies. Eliminate the loser and use the winner going forward.
