SCRIPTURE: He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might He increases strength. (Isaiah 40:29)
THE ENTREPRENEUR’S REFLECTION
In January, you delegated tasks. Now, you must delegate outcomes. A hustler tells an employee how to do something (“Answer the phone with this script”). An enterprise owner delegates the result (“Handle all customer inquiries to achieve a 95% satisfaction rate”). When you delegate the outcome, you leverage not just the employee’s time, but their creativity and problem-solving ability. Your team increases your strength by owning the result. This requires trust in your SOPs (from Feb) and relinquishing control over the process. Your job shifts from being the foreman to being the visionary who sets the ultimate goal.
PRAYER / CONFESSION
Lord, I ask for the vision to set clear outcomes and the trust to empower my team. I pray for the strength to release control of the process, knowing that my team can find creative ways to achieve the desired result. Increase my strength by allowing others to operate in their specialized domain. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
THE EXECUTION PROTOCOL
Identify the Next Outcome: Identify one entire area of your business you can hand over (e.g., “All social media engagement,” not just “Post this picture”).
Define the Success Metric: Set one clear, measurable Key Performance Indicator (KPI) for that area (e.g., “Increase engagement by 15% this month”).
Brief the Team: Communicate the what and the why of the outcome, but not the how. Ask them for their plan to achieve the KPI.
