SCRIPTURE: Behold, I send forth the promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high. (Luke 24:49)

THE ENTREPRENEUR’S REFLECTION

The founder is always the biggest bottleneck. To truly scale, you must systematically replace yourself. This means capturing every single task, decision, and skill that only you currently possess and moving it into a system (SOP) or delegating it to a team member. You must be endued with power from on high—the strategic, visionary power—by tarrying (waiting/focusing) on the high-level tasks that cannot be outsourced. If you can’t leave your business for three weeks, you don’t own an enterprise; you own a highly specialized job. True scale is achieved when your presence becomes optional for the daily operation.

PRAYER / CONFESSION

Lord, I pray for the wisdom to step out of the daily mechanics of my business and ascend to my true role as the visionary. Help me to identify and delegate every task that limits my scale. I commit to tarrying (focusing) on the strategic work that only I can do, trusting that my systems will manage the rest. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

THE EXECUTION PROTOCOL

Founder List: List the 5 things you did yesterday that only you can currently do (e.g., “Approve all invoices,” “Write all ad copy”).

The System Replacement: For the easiest item on that list, create a simple system (a template or a quick 2-minute video) that allows someone else to handle it.

The Test of Absence: Take a 4-hour window this week where you promise not to answer any work-related messages or calls.
