Welcome to The Entrepreneur’s Daily Devotional (EDD).
If you are holding this daily devotional, you have likely realized that hard work alone is not the path to wealth. If hard work were the sole determinant of success, the woman carrying a 20-liter bucket of water on her head in a rural village would be the wealthiest person on earth. She is not. She is tired. The difference between poverty and wealth is rarely a lack of effort; it is a lack of leverage, a lack of strategy, and fundamentally, a lack of the correct psychological software, if you don’t know what you are doing your bank balance will look at you in shame.
I, Edd Branson, created this guide to serve as that software update. Poverty is not a condition of the pocket, but it is, in reality, a condition of the mind. You cannot reproduce on the outside what you do not possess on the inside. Over the next 365 days, we are going to dismantle the mindset of poverty and the “hustler” who eats what they kill daily, I call it the Esau mindset (if you don’t know the story of Esau may I suggest you read Genesis 25 right now) install the mindset of an “architect” who builds systems that feed generations. Generational Wealth has to start with you and 2026 is the year we attend to the task of building generational wealth. We focus on growth and we in this together and everyday we will explore a new concept.
This is not a book of platitudes. It is a manual for scaling. Whether you are selling airtime on a street corner in Harare, running a tech startup in Bangalore, or exporting goods from Lagos, the
principles of value creation remain immutable. We will walk this path step by step, side by side. I am not sending you ahead; I am walking with you. We will move from the theology of business to the brute mechanics of cash flow.
Here is my challenge to you: Do not just read this. Execute it. In this daily devotional I have tried to create a practical guide to help you grow from the level you are now to the next level. It doesn’t matter if you are a beauty therapist, or a hairdresser or mechanic the principles are the same. Take this blue print and use it in your industry or hustle and you will see the results guaranteed.
