SCRIPTURE: The wise are cautious and avoid danger; the fool is reckless and overly confident. (Proverbs 14:16)
THE ENTREPRENEUR’S REFLECTION
Lack of capital means you cannot afford large, month-long campaigns. You must execute Micro-Experimentation—testing one single hypothesis every day with minimal resource expenditure. A micro-experiment could be: “Hypothesis: Changing the color of the ‘Buy Now’ button will increase clicks.” It takes five minutes to test. The wise are cautious; they test assumptions before committing resources. The fool is reckless, running a massive campaign based on a feeling. Make every day a data acquisition exercise. The results of these micro-tests feed your 1% improvement rule (Apr 21) and your 24-hour pivot strategy (Apr 14).
PRAYER / CONFESSION
Lord, I pray for the caution and clarity to test every assumption before making a large commitment. Help me to run daily micro- experiments that provide clear, rapid data. I commit to making my decisions based on tested knowledge, not just feeling, ensuring I avoid the dangers of recklessness. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
Define the Hypothesis: State one testable business assumption (e.g., “My prospects will respond better to a direct video message than an email”).
Design the Test: Design a 30-minute test to confirm or deny that hypothesis (e.g., Send 5 emails, and send 5 video messages to similar prospects, and track the response rate).
Analyze and Record: Run the test and record the outcome immediately.
