Once you delegate the first tasks (May 15), your job changes from the Doer to the Editor. Your highest-leverage activity is now reviewing the delegated work, providing concise feedback, and refining the SOPs. The prudent founder understands his way—the system—and focuses on making it foolproof. Do not redo the work; edit and refine. Your feedback should never be “This is wrong,” but “Refer to Step 4 of the SOP.” This ensures that the system, not the person, is held accountable, preparing you for true scale and freeing you from the constant need to micromanage.

Lord, grant me the wisdom of the prudent founder. I pray for the discipline to step into my new role as the Editor and Refiner of my system. Help me to provide concise, system-focused feedback, ensuring that I refine my SOPs rather than micromanaging the execution. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

The Feedback Pivot: Write down the feedback you would give. Ensure it references a specific step number in the SOP, not a judgment on the person’s effort.
Refine the SOP: Based on that feedback, refine the SOP to prevent that specific mistake from happening again.
